Call out for Host Membership:

Art Science Exhibits Berlin launches an innovative residency program for professional Visual Artists, Curators, and Art Administrators, which includes stipends for Host Members worldwide.

As more artists enter the international artworld, more and more artists pay out of pocket for residency opportunities. With so many applications, even the best are denied. And the residencies that can offer you support, most often, can’t offer connections to regional artists, curators, or exhibition venues.

By providing this expanding network for members, and by keeping the money in the pockets of friendly artists, Art Science Exhibits presents the solution.

With Artist to Artist, international Host Art Professionals offer engaging, one-on-one residencies to fellow professional artists - by sharing their home or studio, regional network, and resources. In turn, Host Members will be provided with a stipend from their visiting Guest Artist. Whilst sharing, Host Members likewise gain connections to each of their visitors' networks.

With Artist to Artist, Art Professionals have the possibility to expand their opportunities globally and exponentially.

About us:

Art Science Exhibits Berlin has grown from increasing our network of artist interaction and, we believe, so can you. Since 2016 we have provided large-scale exhibitions and leading-edge programs with artists and scientists at Yale University, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, in Winterthur, Switzerland, and at an official Palazzo of the 2019 Venice Biennale.

At present, we have exhibited the work of artists from:  Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Thailand, the UK and the USA.

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL ART: LONDON GROUP EXHIBITION

Share

City:

Eligibility:

Warbling invites international submissions of contemporary art for a curated group pop-up exhibition to be held in East Dulwich, London from the 22nd of August to the 2nd of September 2019.

The exhibition will be titled ‘Of course, I haven’t forgotten!’, it’s completely up to each artist submitting to come to their own conclusions on how the title might relate or sit nicely alongside their practice. It’s interesting to read different ideas and interpretations of our titles in the submissions form, however it is not obligatory to do so and often if a work stands out, it can be related in some way to the other works being considered within the exhibition as a whole.

A year after the first exhibition, Warbling will be returning to East Dulwich, South London this time however to a new space. 155a Artist Space is a versatile ex artist studio which holds regular local art fairs and workshops for the East Dulwich community. The gallery has many homelike features over two floors which will lend itself well to a relaxed and intimate group show.

Selected work will also be promoted online via the @warblingcollective Instagram account and website in addition to being showcased within Warbling’s carefully curated exhibition.
