Biodesign Challenge and Mars Wrigley are partnering on a month-long design exploration that asks for new ways to foster the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of people with food systems that also support the health of the environment. The Biodesign Sprint offers anyone with the spark of an idea the opportunity to design a regenerative ecosystem using biology and biotechnology. The program will run September 28 - November 4.
We invite students, professionals, hobbyists, and enthusiasts from across the globe to envision and create food and agricultural products and processes that help create a future where everyone can thrive. Participants will have the chance to collaborate with Mars, and sustain ongoing mentorship from leaders within Mars.
Throughout the month, we offer guidance, networking, and programming for participants. Sprint participants will gain experience in lightning-fast ideation and product development. Meanwhile, companies—like Mars—can identify and collaborate on novel ideas in biodesign.
